As the Holidays come around, it’s time to remind everyone that you need to be careful with those fancy Holiday plants. Check to be sure they are not poisonous to your Cats before bringing them into your house! And also not poisonous to those big hairy dopey house pets, the dawgs.

Homer Pro v1.4

Homer Pro v1.4 is ready for a few good testers. I am looking for a couple XP testers and particularly a couple Vista testers. First come first serve.

Advantages and Changes in Homer Pro:

Includes Start-up options via the registry.
Hide Homer at start up.
Runs under limited user accounts.
Full install/uninstall.
Reports total “hits” versus actual “Images served”.
Better java script handling, no or very few script errors under IE.
Image Directory selection.

HostsXpert 4.1 beta 1

Greetings,

Long time no blog activity! But back now with a beta.
This beta brings the ability to retrieve the current file date
of HpHosts and MVPs Hosts files so you can compare it
to your last download date (also reported).
In addition, the color changing of HostsXpert, which it could do
since v4.0 though never mentioned :) will now be ”remembered”.
Both changes result in the creation of an ini file that will
appear in your HostsXpert directory. Oh also - a slightly
larger file size, ie. new components needed
to be used for the file date checking.
