Homer v1.0 - beta 5 is ready for testing:
Sorry for the delay, I have recovered from Harddrive failure and am back, ready to go.
Fixed: Images could not be found if the users machine was set to hide known file types.
Changed: Removed logging to file*

*Regarding the file logging. It just wasn’t reliable. With a ton of simultaneous requests, with each trying to write to the same log - things were not working. To make them work, I’d have to slow things down, which to me is counter productive. Logging to screen then saving to file is still implemented.
Homer is serving up very fast however. If you’d like to compare it to another server of your choosing, I think you’ll be happy 
If you use firefox you can check out FasterFox Which will report page loading times. Be sure to dump your cache for accuracy.
